Bring Your Own Telephony
Bring Your Own Telephony connects a telephony provider account you already use, such as Exotel or Twilio, so the phone numbers you hold with that provider can receive and make calls through your Sarvam agents.
What you’ll need: an active account with your provider and admin access to its dashboard — enough to copy your credentials and change the number’s call settings.
Connecting a provider always has two parts:
- On Sarvam — enter your provider credentials so Sarvam can securely connect to your provider account.
- On your provider — update your phone number’s settings so its calls are handed over to Sarvam, where your agent answers and places them.
The exact fields and setup steps differ by provider, so follow the guide for yours below. Once you’ve finished your provider’s guide, come back here for what to do next.
