## What it is

**Sarvam Work Agents** is an agentic workspace where you work with AI for ad-hoc tasks and build agents for recurring workflows. Through Connectors, your agents can also read from and take action inside the external systems you already use, such as Gmail, Slack, GitHub, and Notion. You can work with it live, or hand a repeating job to an agent that runs on a schedule or inside the channels where your team already works.

## Two ways to work: Chat and Agents

The same workspace supports both one-off and recurring work. What changes is whether you build something reusable.

**Rule of thumb:** if you will only do it once, chat. If you will do it again, build an agent.
