# Bring Your Own Telephony

> Connect your existing telephony provider account to Sarvam Voice Agents, with setup guides for Exotel, Twilio, Smartflo, Pulse, Intalk, Vobiz, and Plivo.

Bring Your Own Telephony connects a telephony provider account you already use, such as Exotel or Twilio, so the phone numbers you hold with that provider can receive and make calls through your Sarvam agents.

> **What you'll need:** an active account with your provider and admin access to its dashboard — enough to copy your credentials and change the number's call settings.

Connecting a provider always has two parts:

1. **On Sarvam** — enter your provider credentials so Sarvam can securely connect to your provider account.
2. **On your provider** — update your phone number's settings so its calls are handed over to Sarvam, where your agent answers and places them.
