# Secrets

Securely store credentials used by tools, webhooks, and connections.

Use **Settings → Secrets** for:

* Webhook authentication headers and tokens
* Telephony provider credentials
* SFTP and data-integration passwords/keys
* Other sensitive values referenced by agent configs

Reference secrets from [tool](/conversations/build/tools) and [telephony](/conversations/deploy/telephony) configs instead of pasting raw credentials into prompts or exported JSON.
